I'm a Phillip Island based wedding and lifestyle photographer with a mad love for making sure all of your favourite moments are never, ever, ever, ever forgotten.
Driven by that nostalgic, gooey, spine-tingling feeling you get when you look back on an image and you can remember exactly how you felt.
I take my camera everywhere like it’s my emotional support water bottle.
I guess that’s made me a “little-bit-of-everything” photographer.
Not because I couldn’t choose one thing.
But because I didn’t want to.
That’s why my work features weddings, cute kids and random animals
I shoot whatever lights me up - and that’s a lot of things.
Weddings. Families. Branding. Businesses. Beaches. Grandparents. Sunflower fields. Donkeys. (Especially donkeys)
Over the years, I’ve felt pressure to just. pick. one. damn. thing.
But I cannot and will not and PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME.
Photography is my way of being.
My way of seeing the world.
Holding onto a feeling.
Saying, this mattered.
I believe I’m better at all of it because I do all of it.
By refusing to pick a niche, I believe it’s made me better photographer because...
The skills I’ve built across different genres all dance together.
Shooting families has made me quick on my feet and fluent in tired-toddler.
Real estate photography taught me how to read space, light, and proximity.
Branding shoots have taught me how to find the humanness under the business-ness.
And end-of-life sessions remind me that a photo isn’t just a photo. It’s everything when it’s all you have left.
I take every opportunity I can to travel.
That’s why you’ll sometimes see a zebra or a European sunset sandwiched between a wedding cake and golden hour cuddles.
Unconventionally, I don’t have a ‘niche’.
I have a camera, a calling and a million f*^cks for the work I do.
And that calling is to say yes.
Yes to the life-shaping moments and the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it ones.
Yes to the shoot that scares me.
Yes to connection and curiosity.
Always.
It’s all part of it.
It’s all me.
